Thursday, Kailey, Chloie and I went to Olive Garden for lunch. While it wasn’t part of my HCG plan, I knew it would be the last time for pasta in a while so I figured I would eat it while I could, right? We definitely (Stephanie, look! I’m not defiant -_-) had some fun catching up on girl talk!
Kailey was running a little late so Ms. Chlo and I went to Pets Mart to look at the animals bad idea. We walked around the store, but we ALWAYS ended up at the reptile area because she was attached to a turtle. Well, this little 5-year-old came up and pointed to the turtle asking her mommy for it and miss Chloie slapped her hand away!!!! Oh, you better believe there was some apologizing on the little boogers part and I was thankful that the little girl and her mother were understanding.
After lunch, Chloie and I went to the store and I finally did it. She fell asleep and I SUCCESSFULLY without waking her moved her from her car seat to a cart then back to her seat! WOO HOO! Normally, she wakes up a little and I have to chance her screaming bloody murder (poor, baby) but she was out of it!
As most of you know, I have finally taken the plunge and started the HCG diet; my progress will determine whether I do the 26 or 40 day program. I’m pretty nervous, but I’ve talked to many people who have said it worked so I will be keeping a journal and staying in a lot. Is it bad that I would be too tempted to cheat and eat food if I go out?? Yesterday, I was pretty hungry and sick but today I’m doing much better today! It’s always fun getting on the scale and seeing numbers go down by a 1+ a day! I’ve done well with sticking to the diet (well, besides 2 M&M’s…hey! They were calling my name -_-)
The first two days of the program are your ‘Gorging’ days. What’s that mean? Exactly what it sounds like- you eat, eat and eat some more! I figured the perfect time for me to start was on the weekend we went out of town for a while, don’t you agree?
I love road trips with my husband :)
I always love going down to visit Ryan’s side of the family and APPARENTLY the bugs love me too -_-
Last time we stayed at Josh’s house, we had a twin blow up mattress. I fell asleep on it while the boys talked and drank longer, but when Ryan eventually came to bed and instead of laying on the floor, he scooted me over and eventually I fell off -_- Thanks, hunny! I thought there would be a repeat this time, so I was surprised when we had an actual bed! Well, while we were getting ready, our room was the hang out room for a while and Chelsea came in and plopped on the bed. Unbeknown to us, by doing so it scooted the bed off the box spring making it sink. Yeah, we’re smart so we didn’t even notice it until the next morning AFTER we spent forever trying to even out our weight! haha We were much comfier for our nap :)
After visiting a while with Josh, we go meet up with everyone at this bar/ restaurant on the lake (or, what used to be a lake..Thank you, drought!). We all had fun!
I think I had 1 drink last me 3 hours and yes, that was enough for me to somehow have my first experience with karaoke. I sang, ‘ Before he cheats’ by Carrie Underwood and some of ‘Wind Beneath my Wings’. Both songs I sang with this one girl and talk about our voices not matching up! haha. Nah, it was cool but I couldn’t hear myself for the LIFE of me so I have no idea how I did, but since the speaker was behind me, I sure heard her. Everyone was telling me to put my mike closer to my mouth for the second song because they couldn’t hear me and all I could think was, ‘Good! I haven’t heard this song since 4th grade so I have no idea how this goes so I don’t want to be heard!!! haha.’ Nah, but Glenn Bailey, the entertainer for the night was amazing!
Rayley and her momma!
Final product :)
We went to Josh’s work and he buffed our headlights for us! Can you tell a difference?? ha! Thank you, Josh..yet again!
I met some more of Ryan’s family and this dog had the longest tongue ever! I swear, she could lick her eye! She is a cutie though!
All in all, we had a very fun trip! Can you tell?
